What Our Customers Say About Thunderhorse

I recently moved from Santa Monica to San Francisco and Thunderhorse Moving made what could have been a chaotic process completely stress free. The team was fast ,super efficient, and incredibly careful with all of my belongings not a single item was damaged. Moving long distance can be overwhelming, but their professional and positive attitude made the whole experience smooth and easy. I can't recommend Thunderhorse Moving highly enough. If you’re planning a move do yourself a favor and hire them.

Thunderhorse Movers &Packers was recommended by a close friend who has used them over 10+ years. They moved me from Los Angeles to the Bay area. Everything was seamless.

Jorge was hands on and helped to add packers last minute to help me. Working with Joshua and Harold was great. The loading into the truck took less time than anticipated and they were able to connect me with someone locally to help with three extra days of unpacking and organizing. I would recommend them - they were reliable and they made everything easy.

This crew was hired to help move my aunt from LA to the Bay, where i live. I met up to help them unload. As a former moving driver/ manager (5 years driver/ foreman), i was pleasantly surprised by the friendly, personable crew, who i felt very comfortable bringing into our family’s home. They also did a fantastic job packing her items safely. I’d definitely suggest them for your move, thanks to George, and shoutout to Harold the driver too.

I recently moved within Santa Monica, and it was such a relief to find reliable movers like Thunderhorse Moving. I’ve had terrible moving experiences in the past, but these guys truly live up to their reputation. I had to pack and move within just two days, and they handled everything efficiently — especially my fine china that belonged to my grandmother. Not a single item was damaged!

They charged exactly what they quoted, and their estimate was spot on. The whole process was smooth, organized, and stress-free. If I ever need to move again, I’ll definitely hire Thunderhorse Moving and will happily recommend them to my friends and family.

These three guys did a fantastic job!!!! At the end of their day they were asked to drive from the San Fernando Valley area to Bakersfield to load our belongings onto our moving trailer, no big deal you say! Wrong!! These three guys drove out to Bakersfield in 5:00 traffic, and were on time!!!! That in itself was a feat alone!! Then they load our trailer in record time!!!! Yeah I’d say they did a fantastic job!!!!!! I would definitely recommend these 3 gentleman for sure!!! Thank you guys !!!

I have moved around a few times so I'm familiar with moving companies. Let me tell you, Thunderhorse moving company is the best run moving company I've ever had to use. A group of guys handled my entire move in the exact time that was allotted and they did a wonderful job. Professional from start to finish and really took care of your furniture and supplies. They take their work serious which is hard to find these days. I will be using Thunderhorse in the future if I ever need to move again.

Arturo and his Team of professionals moved us to our new location with 100% care and efficiency. Everything was wrapped for safety and when they brought everyrhing in they methodically placed every piece where directed. It was a complex move-in as we have 23 stairs in three different levels with super tight turns. Getting a Peloton bike and Stair Master climber up those stairs was a challenge. The killer piece was a sleeper sofa. It had to go up in a specific direction or the turn was impossible. Doors had to be removed and replaced as well. Their rates are very reasonable and you definitely will get your money’s worth. Super great people to work with and highly recommend them!!

I was thoroughly pleased with the experience that Thunderhorse Moving provided. They were on time and communicated questions on the phone before the move took place. They worked fast and packed the moving container very efficiently; way better than I would have been able to do on a full night’s sleep and extra coffee. It was a little on the expensive side, but it seems like that’s the way things are. They weren’t any more than the competition. I’d recommend! And Thunderhorse is the most metal of names for a company!

I can't thank Turo and his team enough for the stress free move! It went flawless. They carefully packed ALL of my belongings and wrapped everything with such care. Upon arrival to my new apartment (Santa Monica to Tempe, AZ) they began to work through the night unpacking and putting everything away just as it was. I was super impressed with the break down and reconfiguration of my bedroom set up. KUDOS!! I highly recommend Thunderhorse Packers & Movers for your relocation / moving needs!

We cannot say enough great things about Thunderhorse Moving. We had not planned on hiring anyone to help us with our move but due to unforeseen circumstances we knew we would need all the help we could get! Arturo called to check in the day before they arrived so he could better understand our needs and the task at hand. Arturo and David showed up and did a walkthrough of the house with us and then immediately got to work. They were very efficient and careful with the packing of our things! They did not anticipate to ask questions! They also did an amazing job of packing the PODS we had to make everything fit! There is no way we could have done this without them. They were professional, efficient, hardworking, and friendly. We highly recommend them for any moving job you might have!

Jorge and his team were professional, patient, and expeditious during a complex moving situation. My request was answered very quickly for a short notice move. They helped disassemble and reassemble heavy pieces and were very careful when they moved my cumbersome sleeper sofa. This is my second time working with Thunderhorse and once again they have made the challenging task of moving much less stressful. Highly recommend!

Jorge and his team just helped us do a big move and were all so kind and caring of our home. They allowed us to set the parameters while expertly and efficiently tackling a tall task and being mindful of our budget and time constraints all the way. Mostly, we were blown away by how friendly and trustworthy each and every mover was. All of them had an instant warmness that made us feel very comfortable with them in our home and handling all of our items. We would like to very highly recommended Thunderhorse. Jorge made it really easy for me to book the job, worked around our needs with ease, and is an excellent communicator as well as a hands on company owner that personally showed up to lead his team the day of our move. I really want to highlight the value of Thunderhorse Moving especially compared to the several other moving companies that I wasted hours getting disappointing and/or misleading quotes from (some even insisting to do so in person before even giving an estimate.) We were ready to do the move ourselves because we were getting really disheartened by the “we don’t need your business” attitude of the other companies. I know that Thunderhorse didn’t need our business either as they’re also very busy but they accommodated the dates that we wanted and made us feel instantly appreciated as customers since the first phone call. Hands down this will be the only moving company that we recommend in Ventura/LA. 5 star service for sure. Thanks again guys 😊

Amazing professional workers. We were looking for a last minute moving company and found ThunderHorse Professional Movers. We were very scared as the previous movers we got literally threw some of our valuables without much care on our last move. I can definitely say that Jorge and his crew were super careful with our stuff and asked us questions before moving anything to a particular place in the house. I would definitely recommend their service and use them again if needed. Extra bonus is that they were able to help us remove a huge piece of furniture that was left behind from previous owners. THANK YOU!!!!

The team at ThunderHorse Moving are the absolute best. Moving can be a very stressful experience, and they ease the anxiety and tension around it tenfold. From arranging the details around the move, packing, communicating, and the move itself, the ThunderHorse team are excellent to work with. I would highly recommend them. The movers are also very respectful and mindful of all COVID practices and safety precautions. My family and I have used ThunderHorse Moving multiple times for packing and moving projects - both large and small.

These guys are true gentlemen and a scholar, I couldn't have asked for a better company to help me with getting my household items moved across state. It all started with the pick up Jorge Salinas was on time and helped make my family feel comfortable about the move as I couldn't be there to do the move. The move should have taken about a week to get from California to Maryland. These guys got my stuff to me within TWO days. They were so fast that I didn't have time to get movers to properly help me unpack. I called a company last min who said they could send 3 workers to help me the next day. When Jorge and his team arrived, the 3 guys I hired was running late, than they called me about 15min after and said they were going to be an hr late. Instead of just sitting there and waiting Jorge and his coworker decided to help me move until the others guys showed up. However, these guys were so efficient that we completed the storage unpacking in about an hour & 20min. Than they drove my other things to my apartment were I was moving into and help me move my stuff into my apartment. I was coming from a six bedroom home so I fill up my 3bd apartment pretty fast and had to go back to the storage unit and put the rest of the stuff back in storage. I was so sure that I needed to get another storage unit, because with all the things I had I just knew it wasn't all going to fit. Talk about miracle workers Jorge and his team was able to make a storage unit that was filled to the max which was a 20×30 unit fit into a 10×15, and I still had plenty of room to walk in out of the storage unit. If Thunderhorse Moving was local I would use them every time I moved and being military I moved about every 3yrs. I even offered to buy him and his coworker a plane ticket back to Maryland to move me into my house when its done, because they are that good.

Thank you Jorge and your Partner for making me have one of the smoothest moves.

I had packed my 3 bedroom house into two PODS and needed them unloaded at my new house. Jorge at ThunderHorse Moving was on time, friendly and very hard-working. He and his team carefully sorted the boxes as they brought them in the house to ensure they were placed in the rooms correctly. This is huge when you are wading through boxes to unpack. He and his team worked quickly and efficiently and I will definitely recommend them to my friends, family and anyone who is moving.

I've moved a lot and this is one of the best crews I've ever hired. They're licensed and insured and come in uniform shirts. Not one guy complained or fought me on some crazy request I had and that really matters. They were friendly, polite, professional, and they knew what they were doing.

I had a complicated move and a LOT of heavy stuff and artworks and Thunderhorse came through. I am thrilled with their ability to pack the truck like a Tetris game. Not one box collapsed and the load didn't shift so there wasn't damage to anything which is rare. They wrapped all my furniture before moving it and treated it with care.

They're pretty new so their processes for scheduling are a little old school (aka 2015) and the language on their website needs some refining. I needed to request a quote by email and they use gmail addresses, not a dot com address so know if they do contact you, it will be from a gmail address and it's legit. My only regret is that I was so stressed out I completely forgot to offer them water. Ugh, so sorry guys!

Kobi and Fernando were great, professional, and hard working. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with what felt like 3-4 bedroom worth of stuff. They we’re diligent in taking care of our things and ensuring they communicated every step of the process. They were on time and courteous throughout the whole process. They took extra care in making sure our stuff was safe and packed well into our POD (we used PackRat for our POD). Would highly suggest giving this company a call. I found them on google and Jorge (he answered my call and is the owner) was great. I needed movers the very next day and they delivered. Appreciate the help! Thanks again. (Our apartment was in Marina Del Rey for those reading this post).

We had a 2 BR apartment that we needed help loading into a Zippy Shell. Between street sweeping regulations and when our container was scheduled for pickup, it was crucial that the movers were prompt upon arrival and efficient with the time available. Jorge was thankfully able to accommodate the tight time limitations we had and proactively called the day ahead to confirm the time, which was greatly appreciated. Kobi and Josue arrived right on time and worked swiftly and carefully to load the trailer. Despite my doubts that it would all fit, Kobi and Josue's ninja Tetris skills somehow made it all fit. From the initial call to request a quote to when the last item was loaded, Thunderhorse Moving was prompt, proactive, and courteous. Our experience with Thunderhorse was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.

I just relocated to CA from the east coast. I needed 2 movers to help unload a POD that I had delivered. The rate was great and as advertised. No hidden fees or additional charges. I had 2 gentlemen, Devon and Arthur, not only arrive early, but with huge smiles :) They were very pleasant to work with and very efficient unloading my POD in the time I had booked. I will definitely use ThunderHorse Moving for any future moving needs!

This is the second time when we have used this company and they have been just as good as the first time.We have now moved back to our newly refurbished house after spending the last 6 months in a rented property.

We specifically asked for the same team and they provided the same men. They made the whole move incredibly fast and easy. I guess having the same team made things that little bit easier as they knew what our requirements were.

Also whenever we had a query In the lead up to the move the staff was very helpful.

The whole move was very well organized and everyone we spoke or dealt with did their best to provide us with their best service.

I have already recommended them to my sister. Fantastic service all around. I won t surely be moving again but i would definitely recommend this company.
